Glittering Polar

Today, let's create a design with a touch of Christmas charm.

We start with a delicate pink powder that's light and refreshing, lending a very cute and appealing color to the nails.

It's gorgeous both as a base and on its own. For the thumbs, we've applied it solo for a full-nail color, while on the index and middle fingers, we've used it as a base for a design and a French tip. Hence, the thumb gets two coats for full opacity, but the index and middle fingers are brushed evenly with just one layer.

After the powder sets and the surface is smooth without visible brush marks or excess base gel, we take a fine brush to draw a four-pointed star from the center outwards. The tips of the star can be initially blunt, as we'll later refine the shape to perfection using tools like small wooden sticks to create a more defined star. Then we replicate the process with a silver star.

Once we've perfected it, we seal the design with a layer of clear powder to protect it because we'll do some polishing afterward.

For the middle finger, we're going for a red French tip with a twist: it's a glittery French. Gently shake the jar to get the fine glitter to the top.

Carefully dip your finger at an angle into the section with the most glitter to achieve the desired French curve, then immerse the remaining uncoated nail surface into the clear powder.

And just like that, our festive, sparkly French tip is complete.
